This song has a very disco feel to it. At first I was confused at why there was a white man in the PV. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just Gaackt has never done that before… But with those excerpts of The Sarah Conner Chronicles, did it make sense. The PV is a tad bit creepy… Gackt looks like a human doll that is out to kill someone… BUT that’s okay… because this is Gackt! Who knows what’s going on inside the head of that genius? (:

This song is one of his more rock songs, than ballad. I like this song better than most, cuz most of his songs lately all seem to sound kind of the same. Maybe he was running out of inspiration? Who knows, but I definitely like this song. I always love the meaning behind his songs. It’s really good how he does it. Most Japanese artists, if they can’t fit the Japanese with the rhythm of the beat, they put English in instead. But Gackt always uses Japanese, which I think is really difficult, especially to convey exactly what you mean and have the music sound like they have profound meaning. So I have a lot of respect for Gackt as a songwriter and plus he’s been in this music industry for over 10 years, I would think. So this being said, miyavi has a LOOOONG way to go before I can measure him up to Gackt, cuz obviously they’re not on the same level. But that being said, miyavi IS younger than Gackt, so we’ll see how it turns out in the future, ne? 😀

edit: lol. When I said Gackt always uses Japanese, I meant that he does not just tack them into sentences. oO. Like in Jesus, it’s a refrain, and not just used as a word so that the syllables can go with the rhythm of the melody.
